Duties and Responsibilities

  • Together with the Area Director of Commercial Strategy (ADOCS) and Director of Sales, agree and implement a rate structure for market segments both local and international as well as generating banquet leads from accounts
  • Work with the regional sales office in assigned territories and ensure that all targets set in the Measurable Results are achieved.
  • Responsible for executing a sales action plan to service all accounts locally and overseas.
  • Review all proposal templates & contracts and adjust them to changing market conditions as required.
  • Responsible for quoting prices, sending proposals and following up the group leads for accounts.
  • Selling and planning of business in assigned territories and effectively converting enquiries into sales.
  • Preparing the group contract and sending it to account for confirmed groups
  • Greet guests or groups upon arrival and farewell them upon departure.
  • Prepare daily sales calls and update Infor / Delphi Sales and Catering system.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure that all guests in house receive service levels as set out in the LQEs.
  • Conduct site inspections & fam trips & sales calls.
  • Responsible for the hotel’s sales activities in assigned territories. As part of this responsibility you may be required to make regular sales trips to these territories.
  • Attend regular meetings (i.e. morning briefing, weekly sales meeting and biweekly business development meeting).
  • Responsible for the operation of the sales office with ADOS Groups & Travel Trade in the absence of the Director of Sales.
  • Secure, analyze, and evaluate economic and marketing information on a local and international basis needed for sales operations.
  • Monitor sales activities of competitors and prepares appropriate strategies for review with Area Director of Commercial Strategy (ADOCS) and Director of Sales
  • Follow up on program and policies to ensure compliance with MOHG standards.
  • Provide functional assistance and direct the sales team in matters pertaining to sales department operations and issue instructions as the need arises.
  • Establish contact with local and overseas corporations and solicits business opportunities.
  • Develop new ideas with the Area Director of Commercial Strategy (ADOCS) and Director of Sales, which will increase sales productivity.
  • Send monthly reports to Area Director of Commercial Strategy (ADOCS) and Director of Sales regarding the business overview for the month, highlighting significant tentative, confirmed and lost business.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head.


  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.          
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the luxury hotel industry; international experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of corporate / government segments.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Turkish.
  • Able to liaise effectively with corporate/government.
  •  Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate his/her team.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
  • Possess high degree of stamina, agility, and flexibility.
