Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is expanding its presence in London with the opening of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London this spring 2023. Sitting on historic Hanover Square, the property comprises 50 guestrooms and 77 private residences, offering hotel guests and residents an oasis of calm and Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service alongside a vibrant atmosphere in the public spaces. It will house the first namesake restaurant in the UK from Michelin Star award winning Chef Akira Back, his ‘ABar Lounge’ concept, ‘ABar Rooftop’ as well as his 14 seat fine dining venue ‘DOSA’. There will also be an urban spa, focused on renewal and recalibration.

We are seeking a savvy Assistant Front Office Manager, someone who truly wants to make a difference in every guest’s journey. By joining the pre-opening team, you will be a crucial voice in the writing of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London’s story, building the team and setting the standards together.

What we are looking for in an Assistant Front Office Manager

  • A natural in delivering a great experience to our guests. A confident and empathetic individual
  • Someone with a keen eye for detail, always looking at going over and beyond when it comes to our guests’ journey. Able to confidently inspect and set up a guest room or suite
  • Ensuring the brand standards and group policies are being followed. Responsible for ensuring all necessary training is extended and relevantly recorded
  • Previous experienced in leading and managing a team.
  • Assist the front of house manager with scheduling trainings, meeting department KPI’s, sharing updates with the team
  • Oversee and regularly overview the guest pre arrival communication, room set up, tailored arrival experiences and the overall guest journey
  • Oversee all administrative procedures within Front of House and ensure that all corporate standards are met
