Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Human Resources Manager in the budgeting process, providing all information for housing expenses and monitor the monthly P&L and carry out a regular detailed analysis 
  • Train, evaluate and schedule all housing colleagues in accordance with the applicable standards, policies for the housing.
  • Ensure proper care, security and maintenance of all hotel equipment through attentive supervision.
  • Constantly identify areas for improvement in housing by reviewing various reports, colleague’s feedback, incident reports, and formulate action plans accordingly
  • Maintain an updated inventory of occupancy and space availability in the housing complex.
  • Responsible for allocation of spaces, respecting local legislation, benefits level, family status
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure colleagues' individual apartments are kept cleaned and well maintained. Be readily available for counseling for housing-related problems (problems between occupants)
  • Coordinate and follow up the maintenance requests of all apartments with the owning company or leasing agent.  Coordinate with the owning company cleaning and upkeep/maintenance of the waiting area and public bathroom and changing rooms.
  • Issue discipline in the complex and adherence to the established Housing Colleague Rules & Regulations and take care of any housing-related disciplinary issues
  • Communicate with all new colleagues on the location and facilities available of the housing colleagues before their arrival
  • Carry out weekly Fire Safety Inspection and communicate with the owing company should there be any defects
  • Organize, communicate and carry out a full Fire evacuation drill at the housing 
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports:  occupancy, maintenance, request, new arrivals, leavers, transfers allocation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role at a manager level, or 2 years’ similar experience.
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience dealing with people – guests or colleagues
  • Previous experience with using a Housing module or system preferred
  • Previous ME or GCC experience preferred
  • Previous experience arranging social events preferred
