Duties and Responsibilities


  • Major responsibilities       
    • Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experience, Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis and through the use of Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
    • Generates business correspondence
    • Generates Banquet Event Orders
    • Utilize Delphi system for accurate blocking of events, groups, traces, and generation of BEOS
    • Generate Delphi Daily and Weekly Reports
    • Attend daily departmental meeting
    • Generate amenities requests and input traces in SMS
    • Generate draft weekly departmental schedule as per all colleagues specifications
    • Collect, organize, copy and distribute banquet event orders to all relevant departments
    • Take inquiry information for catering events and one day meetings
    • Provide to the Director of Catering & Conference Management with copies of the Daily Communication Form for daily departmental meeting
    • Create in a weekly basis Group Leads list for preferred vendors
    • Create on a monthly basis Meeting Planner Survey information list for managers’ review and email to corporate office
    • Generate monthly office supplies order for the department
    • Maintain inventory for Catering Sales Kit, Wedding Packages, Banquet Menus and all collateral material
    • Data entry for Event Inquiries list on a weekly basis
    • Update client mailing list
    • Order valet parking, flowers, coatcheck, bathroom attendants, piano tunings and other additional services on a weekly basis
    • Update agenda with available dates to sell for Catering Managers
    • Generate Post As report to be reflected in the Directory Boards on a daily basis
    • Send out proposals, contracts, thank you cards, booking notices, complimentary suite reservations and room reservations as requested by Managers.
    • Create buffet labels for all Catering Events
