The Hotel

 Overview of Position

The In Room Dining Coordinator responsibilities include—but are not limited to—receiving guest orders: pro-actively communicating special requests to chefs and servers; checking daily amenities ordering, assigning of rooms, deliveries and charges; opening and closing checks correctly to ensure balances are reconciled; accurately describing food and beverage items to guests; following up on quote times given to guest orders; and organizing office area.

Incumbent must have excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to upsell items.

The In-Room Dining Coordinator will report directly to the In-Room Manager.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Italian and English.

• Flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.

• Have excellent communication and organization skills.

• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 

• Able to work together with other colleagues.

• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.

• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.

• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.

• Able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.

• Able to handle guest requests in a detailed manner
