Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report all challenges and failures of machinery, tools or equipment’s and follow up.
  • Liaise and communicate with other Chef De Partie and Section leaders on any inter departmental requirements.
  • Attend all training sessions deemed suitable by the Department Head.
  • Attend inter section communication meetings as required for a transparent information exchange.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head
  • Minimise wastage and spoilage by monitoring business forecasts and work practices
  • Inspect all refrigerated and non-refrigerated food storage areas to ensure appropriate stock rotation. Ensure any out of stock items are being immediately reported.
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Understand feedback from quality analysis reports and act on it to ensure standards are being met and operations are constantly improving.
  • Uphold and enforce all hotel policies and procedures as stated in hotel colleague handbook.
