Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the daily operation of Chopsticks (restaurant for colleagues) is smooth and improve the standard of service.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of Chopsticks to ensure products & services meet the standard of the Hotel. 
  • Coordinate with the Human Resources, Food & Beverage, Purchasing, Cost Control, Kitchen and Engineering Departments.
  • Control the operating costs and expenses of the restaurant to ensure they are in line with the current budget.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations with all colleagues and obtain their comments about food quality and service.
  • Work with Sous Chef in reviewing, evaluating and updating the regular menu and festive theme menu.
  • To be aware of and adhere to company policies and statutory requirements with regards to health and safety, sanitation, fire procedures and HACCP.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all work areas.

Requirements

  • 8 years’ working experience in Food & Beverage and with minimum 3 years’ experience at supervisory level. Experience in 5-star hotel is highly preferred.
  • Computer literature including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese.
  • Strong leadership an organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills and able to work under pressure.
