We are looking for a Concierge to join our great team in Prague.

You will play a key role in our Front Office team to support the luxury experience our guests from around the world enjoy at one of the Prague’s best hotels.

As a Concierge, you will mainly have to ensure the full satisfaction of guests during their experience at Mandarin Oriental, Prague by providing information and services in order to meet and exceed guest expectations. Perform the supervision of the Concierge department in the absence of the Head Concierge to ensure consistency in delivering service according to guests expectations and assist the Head Concierge with the implementation of the department service delivery plans.

Responsibilities in the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • To ensure that standards of personal appearance and hygiene are an example for the team and reflect a professional image for our guests
  • To ensure that Mandarin Oriental Grooming standards are being maintained
  • To assist the Head Concierge in implementing and operating policies and procedures
  • To check arrival and departure reports for a better handling and anticipation of guests needs
  • To greet consistently and professionally our guests to provide a warm welcome, enhancing our reputation for excellence
  • To ensure the consistent acknowledgement of venues within the hotel
  • To give and receive hand overs from shift to shift in order to ensure consistent update of information
  • To ensure the safe keeping of pass keys
  • To be knowledgeable of all selling opportunities within the hotel
  • To maintain the information data base for the Concierge for a coherent level of service
  • To handle all guest inquiries
  • To receive and send facsimiles, mail, packages on behalf of our guests in a prompt and efficient manner
  • To ensure prompt and safe luggage handling
  • To assist with on the job training

You must be passionate about guest service, have a previous experience in the same role from a luxury environment and have outstanding interpersonal skills with an energetic and vibrant personality. You must have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English and it is an advantage if you are fluent in Czech.
