We are looking for a Corporate Revenue Operations Manager to join our Corporate Revenue Management Team.

The Corporate Revenue Operations Manager will assist the Regional Vice Presidents of Revenue Management with maximizing revenue at all hotels through field support, project handling and training. The Corporate Revenue Operations Manager will need to have the ability to travel and be based at a hotel for a prolonged period of time, demonstrates commitment to Mandarin Oriental principles and philosophies and share learnings, innovations, and best practices with others.

The Corporate Revenue Operations Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in developing, rolling out and training hotels on Revenue Management Best Practices, Tools and Processes and ensure compliance.
  • Compile, revise and develop a library of the most effective Revenue Management tools and best practices as a resource for the field to access on the company extranet.
  • Work with on-property team to overcome any system issues.
  • Assist with coordination of new hotel builds in CRS/SynXis.
  • Provide Pre-opening support and training and actively engage with hotel pre-opening teams to ensure best practices are communicated and understood, room types and rate plans are set up according to MOHG standards.
  • Take on a vital role in initial day-to-day tasks until on-property DORM has been hired, and fully trained.
  • Assist as on-property Task Force for vacant positions or prolonged Revenue Management absences.
  • Assist Regional VPs of Revenue with developing and executing a successful and consistent Revenue Management Training Program for the field, for existing and new hotels.
  • Responsible for training of on-property Revenue Management colleagues.
  • Act as resource for Revenue Management colleagues in the field as well as the Regional & Corporate Team.
  • Provide support to Regional VPs Revenue, as well as Regional Team Members as required.
  • Provide upwards feedback on challenges faced on property and work with relevant parties to resolve roadblocks and find solutions.
  • Create and maintain user logons for required RM systems including but not limited to Datavision, IDeaS, SynXis, OTAInsight, STR and TravelCLICK.
  • Assist with rate shops and other digital audits as required and on a proactive, ongoing basis.
  • Analyze hotels current placement and distribution in all sales channels.
  • Conduct Revenue Management Systems and Process Audits and communicate results to appropriate leaders. Follow up on Audits to ensure compliance with standards and optimize revenue opportunities.
  • Take on projects as needed.

What are we looking for?

  • Successfully held a Senior Revenue Manager or Director of Revenue Management position for at least 3-5 years.
  • Excellent Excel Skills required.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills required.
  • Extremely detail oriented and focused.
  • Solid oral, written and inter-personal communication skills.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehension of technical and managerial applications of Reservation, Sales, CRS, Business Intelligence Tools and Revenue systems including but not limited to SynXis and IDeaS.
  • Comprehension of the main responsibilities of the Revenue Management position as well as the Reservations and Group Sales Process but also Group and Space Revenue Maximization of value.
