Responsibilities:

  • Monitor overdue account receivable accounts closely.
  • Prepare and/or review daily and monthly credit summary reports, overdue account receivable reports and other credit analysis reports.
  • Organize monthly credit meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Reply guest enquiries about their bills.
  • Follow up on different credit limit accounts and outstanding payment.
  • Oversee and review the Account Receivable team’s daily work and operations.
  • Propose improvement areas in credit control from time to time.
  • Keep proper filing of approved credit applications.
  • Responsible for completing responsibilities for both hotels as needed: Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and the Landmark Mandarin Oriental under the shared services arrangement.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years’ experience in account receivable  collection and credit control in hotel.
  • Strong communications skills in handling credit related enquiries.
  • Good team players across departments with strong coordination skills.
  • With hands PC operations skills, including MS office (i.e. Words, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail); as well as English and Chinese typing.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
