We are looking for a Director of Marketing & Communications join our pre- opening team for Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London.

Situated on Hanover Square, Mayfair’s oldest square, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is the latest hotel and Residences to join the Group’s acclaimed collection of award-winning properties and will offer a unique taste of urban luxury in the heart of London.

About the role

It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will be responsible for the marketing and brand communications strategy for Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London. Through this they will support the hotel’s revenue generating efforts and establish a distinct brand identity in the London market.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in establishing best-in-class and relevant positioning of hotel.
  • Oversee the creation and management of the brand identity for all its outlets, including Food and Beverage and Spa.
  • Oversee the production of all brand identity materials, collateral and the development of new promotional materials.
  • Work closely with MOHG Brand department on all matters relating to brand identity; reputation management; consumer direct marketing activity.
  • Design and execute PR strategy, ensuring positioning as top hotel in London in the local, national and international media, showcasing the main USPs and highlighting MOHG’s competitive advantages. Ensuring differentiation but synergy between the the hotel and the sister property in London, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.
  • Implement tactical media relations activity in line with both hotels business needs and objectives.
  • Development of local digital marketing strategy to deliver agreed targets and ensure seamless consumer experience.
  • Work with creative agencies where required to drive social, advertising, PR and direct marketing creative activity.
