Duties and Supporting Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day efforts of Sales & Marketing and Revenue Department members with specific responsibilities for directing sales,  solicitation and implementing action plans set forth in the marketing plan to secure new and repeat business for the hotel.
  • Direct the Hotel’s sales activities through the Director of Sales and ensure that the Sales Team meets their goals as laid out in the annual Marketing Plan.
  • Initiate and develop key marketing and brand building activities within the China market – to promote the broader acceptance of MOHG brand in general.
  • Establishes and implements intelligent rate strategies for different market segments.
  • Prepare the hotel's annual Budget and develop and implement and adapt the Annual Marketing Plan.
  • Initiate employee development and evaluation programs for all subordinate staff to ensure the highest level of professional competence and efficient continuity within those positions.
  • Attend selected overseas trade and travel functions, i.e., trade shows and local Hotel and Tourist Association meetings to promote sales and the overall image of the hotel.
  • Oversee the management of the Sales & Catering system in the office.
  • Maintain close relationships with all key decision makers both in local and international markets.
  • Carries out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the General Manager or MOHG corporate management.

 

Job Requested:

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Revenue Management related functions is mandatory.
  • Strategic approach towards maximizing revenue through use of historical data and analysis of the marketplace and demand generators, either geographically or special event related.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same position in luxury hotel, preferable in Mainland China.
  • Strong business acumen and market focus to drive financial results.
  • Strong leadership, strategic, analytical, and forecasting skills.
  • Effective time management, communication, and professional presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate the creativity on social media and online distribution channels.
  • Full confidence to communicate with hotel senior management and ownership.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving utilizing data to make conclusions.
