Electrician

Responsibilities: 

• Attends to electrical systems operation and maintenance work as required.
• Carries out equipment preventive and routine maintenance.
• Responds to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt of the same.
• Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair.  Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guestroom or public area.
• Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
• Observes prescribed safety standards.  Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Interacts with other Departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.
• Interacts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized technical support.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a luxury hotel environment.
• International experience: Middle East experience is an advantage
• Strong people management skills
• Fluent in English, spoken and written language
• Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service with little input from others
• Mature and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
