We love perfectionists, and we’re looking for more to join us as a Public Area Attendant.

To do this job well, you’ll be a details person: someone who walks into a room and takes a second to spot a table that needs cleaning or a banister that needs polishing.

Beyond an eye for detail, this role calls for a thoughtful nature: our best Public Area Attendants are those who look for ways to please our guests, sometimes in unexpected ways. (Let’s say they comment on a particular flower display – we might present them with said flowers as a way of going above and beyond.)

About the role

Our Public Area Attendants are responsible for ensuring the highest levels of Mandarin Oriental standards are met in terms of quality, maintenance, cleanliness and tidiness in all guest and public areas, such as our beautiful lobby and the restaurants. They will also be assisting in delivering guest requests, as well as ensuring all storerooms, cupboards and the cloakroom are tidy and fully stocked at all times.
