✓ Robust culinary expertise in luxury operations(Western cuisine can include Italian cuisine)
✓ Leadership / building effective teams overseas / Organizational skills / Business acumen
✓ Customer focus and passion for product sourcing is critical in luxury boutique property
✓ Drives for results (1 Star Michelin in Western within 12 to 18 months)
✓ Possess degree or higher national diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Culinary Management
✓ Certified in food safety in catering level 3 or equivalent
✓ A minimum of 3 years as Executive Chef in a five-star deluxe hotel operation but can also
be an accomplished Executive Sous Chef in luxury and Award-winning property
✓ Located presently in China is a big advantage due to present border control in 2021
✓ Ability to speak Mandarin is a big plus but not a minimum requirement
✓ Expatriates and Chinese Nationals will be considered
✓ A minimum of total 15 years of experience working in five-star luxury kitchens, can be
combined with well rated free-standing restaurants ideally Michelin rated
✓ Expect individual to be hands on in the kitchen to drive the success of the Western concept
✓ A strong interest and knowledge of Cantonese Cuisine as individuals work side by side
✓ Michelin Star Restaurant experience is a big advantage as objective in 2022 is to achieve 1
star Michelin in both Restaurants
