Major responsibilities

  • Operate the Front Office properly, efficiently and with profitability, which includes overseeing Guest Service Agents, Assistant Managers and other Front Office colleagues
  • Ensure that Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures of MOCMO are properly understood and followed through among Front Office colleagues
  • Personally welcomes guests in VIP categories as well as repeat guests; recognize and anticipate their individual needs
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty and available to guests at all times
  • Ensure accurate communication of information and guest requests to all relevant departments
  • Handle all guest complaints and specific guests’ requests by cooperating with all Departments
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by effectively controlling rates and availability (on the day of arrival)
  • Control and analyse departmental costs to ensure spending is within budget
  • Ensure and maintain a very high standard of personal hygiene, behavior and grooming standards of staff
  • Holding daily Front Office briefings and reviewing the Front Office communications board regularly
  • Train, supervise and support the Front Office Team
  • Schedule departmental shifts
  • Greet and escort guests promptly to their rooms
  • Provide assistance to guests in the lobby and Front Office area
  • Handle cash drawer properly as outlined in the MOHG Controller's manual
  • Check cash float at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure at all times that amounts are correct
  • Provide quality service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout the guest's experience
  • Supervise guests’ incoming and outgoing correspondence, (facsimile, messages, mail, etc.)
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Resort Manager

Competencies

  • At least 3 years experience as Front Office Manager
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Italian, a third language knowledge is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Very good computer skills
  • Excellent overall communication skills
  • Achievement and goal oriented
