Scope of Position

The Global Sales Operations Manager drives operational excellence across Global Channel Sales and Property Sales by supporting them in adopting our core sales processes with the goal to better monetise our third-party ecosystem (travel industry, MICE agencies, key accounts, online travel agents).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set the annual sales operation goals, and input into the annual BSC goal setting process for sales teams
  • Own, track and report key sales processes – SOP development, account list maintenance, commercial agreements - RFPs, GSA contracts, key account plans, salesforce utilization/ tracking, organizational man-marking
  • Analyse progress to goals and provide guidance to execs on gaps
  • Serve as a primary point of contact to consult and guide sellers on key sales processes
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of key sales operations reports and recommend revisions to existing reports; identifying gaps/ changes as needed
  • Qualify, develop, manage and evaluate the Global Sales Calendar including GSP and GIP only events to ensure high quality, targeted and effective utilisation of budget, with impactful reporting
  • Tightly manage the Global Tradeshow Budget in alignment with Global Sales Calendar RSO only events
  • Administer the allocation, spend and ROI of the Travel and Trade Marketing Budget in partnership with the Director of B2B Marketing


  • Bachelor's degree in a business, marketing communications, project management or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, trade/product marketing, customer strategy, sales, or project management
  • Experience in supporting operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarisation with the sales process and the needs of internal sales stakeholders as well as our industry sales partners
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications with experience in stakeholder management and consensus building
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with a tolerance for ambiguity and an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Proficiency with data and analytics, a distinct advantage
