  • To handle and co-ordinate all incoming enquiries for events in the hotel’s function rooms and food and beverage areas
  • To effectively administrate and co-ordinate all function bookings, as per bookings procedures as an assistant
  • To ensure that all the information is accurately obtained prior to start of the event, arrival times, menu and wine selections, audio-visual requirements etc.

  • To meet and greet function organisers at the start and finish of the event, if appropriate

  • To efficiently manage the catering system, to ensure that all information is complete, accurate and updated
  • To send out event contracts, confirm billing arrangements and deposit requirements as per terms and conditions
  • To handle site inspections (show round and familiarisation trips) and pre-group client meetings and introduce Banqueting Operations staff supervising the event at this stage if possible


  • Experience in the hotel industry is mandatory
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Customer-service orientation

  • A team player

  • Fluent in German and English
