Guest Services Specialist

Main Responsibilities: 

The Guest Services reports directly to the Guest Services Manager.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of communication/relationship tasks related to these responsibilities:

  • Handle all guests enquiries and reservations regarding Rooms and F&B in a friendly and professional manner
  • Navigate multiple web-based systems to manage various source of bookings
  • Daily control of arrivals, pre-authorizations and payments
  • Reply emails with hotel standards
  • Leverage rooms and F&B reservation system according to the hotel standards, policies and procedures
  • Maximize rooms and restaurants capacity in smooth service flow and to achieve the financial targets
  • Update guests profile and database
  • Perform other administrative tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate holder in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 2 years of reservations experience in international luxury hotels
  • Previous work experience in the capacity of Hostess, Telephone Operator or Reservations Agent is preferred
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Well organized and structured
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

Flexible schedules and working hours, willingness to work on weekends & holidays required

  • Fluent in French and English - another language a plus
