Duties & Responsibilities

  • Keep work area clean and neat at all times.
  • To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained.
  • Must follow all Standards and Procedures as taught by legendary trainers, Spa Management, Human Resources in reference to the maintenance, cleanliness, and care of the public and private space.
  • Follow all checklists as the checklists pertain to the business operation and cleanliness
  • Will be ready in uniform in accordance to MOHG standards at start of shift
  • Must have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and basic hotel related questions with guests
  • Report dysfunctional equipment to Spa Director
  • To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as lay down by the Hotel.
  • Assist in all areas of the spa as and when necessary.
  • To be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
  • Will perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position or assigned by the Spa Operations Manager.
  • To maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the Gift Card Kiosks
  • Will be expected to assist various demonstrations and events.
  • Must attend all training courses as deemed necessary, and must adhere to training as set down by the Spa Operations Manager
  • Must have good telephone skills and follow MOHG telephone etiquette.
  • To be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
  • Bring and retrieve operational items from hotel rooms and different hotel floors
  • Follow all Gift Card SOP’s that refer to guest experiences, safety, and administrative work
  • Must adhere to MOHG cash-handling rules. Responsible for a bank, responsible for having the bank available during their shift. Responsible to follow cash drop rules.
  • Will perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position or assigned by the Spa Operations Manager.
  • To always ensure a warm friendly welcome to all guests. Greet all guests upon their arrival. Courtesy to guests and other members of staff always.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing packages, i.e., FedEx, UPS, etc.
  • Oversees incoming and outgoing guest Gift Card requests.
  • To aim to give the guests the best possible service, and make each guest feel important.
  • The interest of each guest is of paramount importance.
  • To always show a professional attitude, particularly with regard to punctuality, appearance and general manners.
  • Responsible for all administrative procedures to ensure that the spa and hotel is run professionally and in accordance with Health and Safety policy.
  • Ensure that the Gift Card area is tidy, clean, and stocked at all times.
  • Ensure that all phone calls and emails are replied to in a timely matter
  • To communicate all messages promptly and to keep the Manager-On-Duty informed as to any complaints or feedback.
  • To recognize the importance of "sales" in every aspect of their role and be responsible for achieving sales targets as set by the Spa Operations Manager.
  • To assist in the smooth flow of the guest’s Gift Card experience.

 

Rate of Pay: $23 per hour/ 40 hours per week- temporary position (2-3 weeks during holiday season)
