The Hotel
Renowned Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier, have created a sophisticated residential design for the 100 rooms and 53 suites, including several one-of-a-kind specialty suites, featuring unique design elements inspired by the hotel’s historic connections to the city, Spanish culture and art.
With a stunning and meticulous restoration that celebrates César Ritz’s pioneering spirit, a prestigious central location, five restaurants and bars overseen by one of Spain’s most celebrated chefs and exceptional leisure and wellness facilities, Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is set to become the city’s most luxurious hotel.
Main responsibilities:
Taking reservations accurately where necessary while keeping track of guest’s preferences
Greeting and seating guests according to MO standards
Ensuring guest satisfaction
Handling special requests from guests and VIPs
Bidding guests farewell
Anticipating the guests' needs
Requirements:
Proficiency in English and Spanish language.
Must be able to set up the bar/restaurant reception area
Must be capable of handling all relevant equipment
Must be able to handle all reservations and guest enquiry of the bar/restaurants in a timely manner
Ensure the menus are up-to-date and in excellent condition
Must have good communication skills within department and able relate message with other departments within the hotels
Attend daily meetings
Attend all mandatory training sessions arranged by MO
Perform all administrative tasks designated to him/her by management
Be aware of, and comply with, safe working practices as laid down under FHLSS. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your workplace
Be aware of and comply with local and relevant Food Acts.
Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to the Hotel procedures.
Ensure any accidents to colleagues, guests or visitors are reported in accordance with Hotel procedures.
Attend all statutory fire training and to be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning, fire, health & safety.
Be aware of Fire safety plans
Adhere to Safe&Sound procedures regarding Health & safety
Adhere to Safe&Sound procedures regarding HACCP standards
Attend any training deemed appropriate by your Head of Department
Contract
Due to the nature of the venue, the type of contract is Seasonal.
