Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all back of house areas, including areas such as offices, pantries, corridors, and all storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors in level B3-B1, as well as all guest room corridors
  • Collect and deliver fresh and dirty linen and ensure that trolleys are filled effectively
  • Refill pantries and ensure that enough stock of amenities and linen are placed on each floor
  • Support laundry and public area operations wherever possible or needed
  • Stick to regular deep cleaning schedules of all Back of house areas
  • Respond to guest and management requests timely and professionally
  • Deliver or collect any requested guest items
  • Communicate with colleagues and other departments to ensure guest/colleague needs are fulfilled

Requirements

  • Senior School qualifications or equivalent is mandatory
  • Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is beneficial
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment
  • A minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience
  • Basic housekeeping, chemical, linen and machinery knowledge is beneficial
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping chemicals and cleaning techniques
