The IRD Coordinator is responsible for the intake of all guest IRD dining inquiries and orders; providing a personalized IRD dining experience by providing detailed recommendations for dining choices, enhancements (both food & beverage); processing all orders, coordinating the setup and delivery (including the actual delivery of food when assigned) to guests; this role is also responsible for coordinating the recovery of dining-tables; the IRD Coordinator is responsible for the follow up with guests to ensure their complete satisfaction with their meal and experience.

Essential Functions

  • Receive all guest orders for In Room Dining / Make recommendations / upsell so as to complement and enhance the guest’s dining / F&B experience.
  • Set up tables up to our standards as per side work description / support in the preparation of tables & food products for Server delivery / coordinating an accurate and timely delivery.
  • Make sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
  • Do all the side work and preparations of the equipment for the continuation of the operation
  • Make sure that all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless.
  • Check accuracy of order before delivery.
  • Coordinate table after the use by the guests or as per guest’s request.
  • Anticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything.
  • Assist Guest courteously and efficiently, providing service for any guest’s request
  • Attend all food and beverage training classes as assigned.
  • At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to rules
  • Following the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet.
  • Attend daily pre meal/communication meeting.
  • Attend monthly department meeting.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in similar position in a luxury hotel property
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
  • Be a self-motivator and motivator of others
  • Must be able to work in a high pace and dynamic operation.
  • Be able to work together with other colleagues.
  • Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
