About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Finance (Share Service) Department in Hong Kong, the Income Auditor is responsible for verifying all revenues of the hotel are properly controlled and accounted for and ensuring all relevant procedures are strictly adhered to for both hotels as needed: Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and the Landmark Mandarin Oriental under the shared services arrangement.  The Income Auditor reports to the Operations Accountant.

As Income Auditor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare the daily revenue reports
• Verify Room sales by details under hotel's P&P.
• Verify Food and Beverage sales by referring to various reports
• Verify revenue of minor operating departments by checking that all vouchers are properly accounted for
• Investigate and follow up missing checks and vouchers
• Verify all miscellaneous charge vouchers against their source
• Examine paid-out and miscellaneous credit vouchers and ascertain that they are genuine and duly approved
• Examine and verify the general cashier summary
• Carry out surprise cash counts on all hotel cash floats on a regular basis
• Prepare month-end journals and various reports and analysis.

As Income Auditor, we expect from you:

• Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines is preferred
• Above 2 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in hospitality industry is an advantage
• Familiar with experience in computerized accounting system, SUN System
• Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese
• Self-initiative, attentive to details and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive, detailed-oriented, hands on, multi-tasking and able to work independently and under pressure
• Immediate available will be an advantage.
