Main responsibilities

  • The ability to follow proper uniform procedures;
  • The ability to save way using FIFO system;
  • The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area;
  • The ability to handle and report any accident immediately to his/her supervisor;
  • The ability to cut food; 
  • The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, accepting instructions and encouragement as needed;
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation;
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management or immediate supervisor;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • To work in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Sous Chef or Chef De Cuisine.

Skills & Requirements

  • Good communication skills;
  • A passion to learn and a drive to succeed in a culinary/hospitality career;
  • Proficient in English;
  • A passion for food and the culinary arts.
