Mandarin Oriental is seeking a Leisure Sales Manager for an exciting new product to drive leisure sales from third parties agencies. We are looking for an individual with strong selling skills to help launch this product into the market and make an immediate sales impact.  The Leisure Sales Manager will have strong understanding and experience in luxury hospitality and more specifically in leisure sales in the UK market.  

Highly organised and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.  Responsible for bringing sales leads, you will be a great problem-solver, a self-starter and naturally creative, pragmatic, and collaborative.

As a Leisure Sales Manager you will be responsible for: 

  • Strategy: help define the overall vision, strategy, proposition and roadmap for the product launch and beyond
  • Sales: Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with selected key leisure accounts via individual account management sales plans
  • Product Awareness: Build awareness of the product with the select leisure accounts, organize Fam Trips, events, presentations etc.
  • Reporting: Analyse performance and assist the Director on forecasting and annual budgeting 
  • Ambassador: Be an ambassador for Mandarin Oriental’s customer-first approach 

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 6 years in luxury hospitality looking after leisure accounts in the UK, with a demonstrable track record in delivering results. Experience in other European markets will be a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, charts and statistics 
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills  
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to think outside of the box 
  • Comfortable working in an agile and constantly evolving environment 
  • Self-starter with the ability to set direction and execute 
  • Role is based in the corporate office in London, UK. Flexibility to work autonomously.
  • Ideally you should be able to start in January 2022. This is a fixed term project assignment with option to extend.
