We are looking for Marketing and Communications Manager to join our pre-opening team for Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London.

Situated on Hanover Square, Mayfair’s oldest square, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is the latest hotel and Residences to join the Group’s acclaimed collection of award-winning properties and will offer a unique taste of urban luxury in the heart of London.

About the role

It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will be responsible for the marketing and brand communications strategy for Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London. Through this they will support the hotel’s revenue generating efforts and establish a distinct brand identity for the hotel in the London market, whilst upholding the MOHG standards.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development of a brand, PR and communications strategy to in line with agreed targets.
  • Driving brand reputation, establishing property positioning and visibility of hotel via all communications channels such as media, content, digital, consumer marketing and partnership activity.
  • Overseeing all matters relating to media and public relations for the hotel and liaise with local media, in-house overseas media, colleagues, the general public and relevant stakeholders to drive positive publicity, awareness and to effectively handle media requirements.
  • Overseeing all matters relating to media relations, advertising, collateral production and other marketing communications for the hotel.
  • Oversee all social media channels strategy, promoting the hotel through positive and enticing content.
  • Promoting the image of the hotel through positive publicity, suitable partnerships and appropriate awareness campaigns.
  • Communicating with the MOHG Communications Offices and PR Agencies with a view of achieving properly positioned print and online media exposure.
  • Act as hotels spokesperson where appropriate.
