Position Summary:

The Marketing and Communications Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Commerce and coordinates his/her team. He/she will be responsible to create and execute annual Marketing and Communications strategies for the hotel, maximizing marketing opportunities and media exposure also on online channels. He/She will support communications/public relations efforts to build, maintain and enhance the awareness of the hotel and to represent and preserve the image of the brand.

Responsabilities:

  • Ensure brand voice consistency across all channels.
  • Manage the execution of relevant marketing and communications projects.
  • Supervise the creation and promotion of Guest Experiences in the local area.
  • Create marketing collaterals and support the creation of hotel operational collaterals.
  • Co-ordinate graphic activities and photo shoots.
  • Supervise Social Media activities, engagement, and performance.
  • Supervise all internal and external communication activities.
  • Schedule regular meetings with SPA and F&B Teams to support relative outlets properly.
  • Create newsworthy and unique press release material, as outlined in the marketing and communications strategy of the hotel.
  • Write press releases and handle relevant website updates.
  • Coordinate, schedule and monitor email marketing activities and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Actively promote and organize PR and Marketing events on property.
  • Provide editorial support for marketing and communications activities.
  • Ensure consistent style and tone of hotel copywriting and editing.
  • Support marketing strategy for existing and forthcoming hotel outlets.
  • Manage relationships with key marketing partners and pursue collaborations with new partners, in line with the brand name and exposure of the hotel.
  • Manage all media and influencers relationships by actively pitching targeted story ideas, organizing press trips, entertaining key media and influencer contacts, responding to media enquiries.  
  • Coordinate and support interviews with spokespersons.
  • Attend internal meetings as required for the role.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Marketing & Communications environment, preferably within Luxury Travel & Hospitality industry, Fashion or Luxury Goods.
  • Fluent in both English and Italian languages, including written. A third language is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, knowledge of core Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Great time management and problem-solving skills.
