We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our pre-opening team at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, set to open in Spring 2023.
Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is located on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese, one of the most unspoiled and breath-taking landscapes in the Mediterranean, and 45 minutes’ drive from Kalamata International Airport. The beachfront resort will be part of the sustainable resort destination of Costa Navarino, a well-established tourism destination which includes 3 other resorts. It will comprise 99 guest rooms, including 48 pool villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with five restaurants and bars.
As the Marketing Manager, you will oversee and lead all marketing & communication efforts in the resort working alongside the Director of Commercial Strategy. You will drive the planning and execution of the resort marketing & communications, and activity by supporting the Revenue management team, Sales, Catering and Events, eCommerce and Public Relations teams. F&B & Spa activities will be shared responsibilities with the Director of F&B, Spa Manager and General Manager.
During the pre-opening and opening of the resort, you will be responsible for identifying the key market “persona”, identify clear USP’s that will differentiate with the resort, and position the resort as one of the top destinations resorts in the world by implementing effective marketing and communications campaigns. Furthermore, you will be responsible to create and promote on-brand messaging to customers through various channels with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel, driving consumer awareness, increasing market share, and building brand awareness. This will take place by a clear use of data from digital and non-digital channels to understand effectiveness of campaigns, new markets to focus, and continuous communication via digital and non-digital channels with customers. You will also identify both international and local market opportunities and formulate and implement appropriate sales, marketing and communications strategies to maximise revenues in rooms, catering & meetings and to drive awareness, exposure and coverage of the hotel in both local and international media.
