As a Preopening Doorperson You will need to be:

  • Confident, composed, approachable and able to motivate fellow colleagues under
  • Passionately knowledgeable of restaurants, bars and attractions in London
  • Flexible in supporting the Front of House operations in the lobby area
  • Hold a current full driving license to support the valet team when necessary

This is a vital period, when the success of transition is important and equally allows you to be an integral part of the small early preopening team to gain a valuable skill set.


 To courteously and professionally greet our guests, residents and visitors on both arrival and departure.  To ensure that the front entrance of the hotel is maintained, reflecting the hotel’s standards of excellence in order to create a lasting impression of warmth.

Additional Daily Duties may include:

  • To greet our guests, residents and visitors on both arrival and departure courteously and professionally.
  • To give and receive handover from shift to shift in order to ensure effective communication.
  • To ensure that the front entrance is kept clean and tidy.
  • To check arrival and departure reports so as to anticipate guests needs.
  • To ensure that the main entrance is attended at all times.
  • To assist guests and residents on arrival by opening car doors, ensuring a warm welcome.
  • To unload any belongings, ensuring a smooth and safe flow.
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the Manager on duty.
