Scope of role

  • Responsible for, but not limited to, PMS trainings, in particular installation at new hotel openings and conversions
  • Lead projects involving the PMS
  • Establish new system and departmental SOP’s
  • Maintain existing SOP’s, best practices, instruction and implementation of system standards, and governance of specific system data
  • Maintain the PMS enhancement pipeline together with the vendor
  • Test all new PMS enhancements for delivery
  • Communicate updates and new features, together with training
  • Identify and determine solutions to issues
  • Manage training plans and ensure full execution

 

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of, and experience in, using and training operational systems, preferably including implementations
  • A pro-active and results-driven team member
  • Geographically mobile for business needs
  • Excellent project management
  • Ability to produce documentation on standards, guidelines, and trainings
  • Ability to train medium sized groups of colleagues on operational systems
  • Ability to think and act strategically for Rooms initiatives
  • Adaptable to different teams and a good people manager
  • Good communication and planning skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English  
  • This role will be based out of the Hong Kong corporate office
