Overview of Position

The Sales Executive is responsible for providing administrative and coordinating support for the Account Director(s) handling Sales and Marketing activity. The Sales Executive’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide and achieve monthly action plan tasks and actions to support local market to include but are not limited to sales calls, entertaining and telephone prospecting
  • Achieve predesignated monthly goals for new account acquisition
  • Assist Sales Managers in creating and distributing regular sales kits and direct mailings that highlight services and amenities, special promotions, and unique selling points of the hotel.
  • Assist Sales Manager by handling sales correspondence and inquiries. 
  • File correspondence and documents according to agreed system (Delphi) and maintain trace system up to date.
  • Answer telephones in line with current MOMIA telephone standards.
  • Contact clients on behalf of Sales Manager and serve as a representation of the department in the manager’s absence.
  • Make travel arrangements and set sales appointments for Sales Manager.
  • Meet with clients and conduct site tours when needed, as well as conduct room inspections prior to showing rooms.
  • Attend promotional sales events and other sales functions as required.
  • Coordinate reservations, amenities, and proposals for VIP clients when needed. 
  • Maintain all contact, account, activity and booking information in Delphi as per MOHG Delphi Best Practices.
  • Ensure effective communication to regional sales office.
  • Organize and deliver Fam trips
  • Produce monthly production reports for both Senior Sales Manager and Sales Executive roles

The Sales Executive will report to the Sales Manager and Account Director.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and guest service skills

• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 
• Able to work together with other colleagues.
• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.
• Able to handle guest requests in a detailed manner.
