Sales Intern - Season 2023

Position Summary:

The Sales Intern supports the Sales & Events Team with their daily tasks, with the final goal to achieve hotel total revenue and quality targets. The Sales Intern helps the Director of Marketing and Commerce in establishing the resort within local and international markets by securing transient, group and banqueting business for long lasting relationships with key agents and individual clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Company philosophy and Company culture daily, to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of Mission Statement
• Support Sales Team handling transient, group, banqueting and wedding enquiries and proactively engaging with clients to maximize conversion
• Support Sales Team personalizing VIP stays (in cooperation with Guest Relations Team)
• Customize proposals, ensuring that a luxury and positive attitude is always guaranteed
• Conduct resort site visits with press, travel advisors and individual guests
• Prepare tools and collaterals needed to target transient and group clientele, including Power Point and Canva presentations
• Follow internal financial policies
• Use hotel systems to create proposals, load groups and individual bookings and pull out reports
• Manage client database, ensuring data accuracy as per Company policies (following confidentiality and privacy guidelins)
• Attend daily departmental meetings
• Communicate and cooperate with all departments
• Follow company grooming policies

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Italian. Other languages are a plus
• Creative thinking and bespoke approach to client requests and needs
• Strong time management skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
