Responsibilities:

  • Organize comprehensive and accurate information to existing and potential customers as regards the product range offered by the hotel, with the aid of the relevant sales resources and sales channels
  • Maintains good relations with existing and solicits new business production of individuals, group and conference business from travel and trade accounts in order to meet sales targets
  • Plans sales activities by identifying potential clients, organizing sales calls and sales blitz to develop new business
  • Fulfil the weekly and annual sales targets as set for all activities and revenue room night and ADR
  • Promote and cross sell the sister properties and fulfil G-Leads sales monthly target
  • Negotiates new contracts and renewal in accordance with currant business and price conditions to meet sales targets
  • Coordinate with Front office, Banqueting and F&B Department all specific guest requirements from travel and trade
  • To continuously add and update the database of DMC’s, TO’s, group and MICE leads and ensure implementation
  • To entertain potential and current clients based on business priorities
  • Conduct educational trips for existing and potential clients and fulfil the Fam Trip and Sales & Marketing SOP
  • Achieve monthly budget goals and new business targets
  • Set up and maintain good working relationships with all other areas of the hotel operations
  • Follow-up with clients before, during and after the function/ event/ stay to ensure repeat business
  • Ensure any complaints are handled within 2 working days in accordance with S&M SOP complaint handling
  • Follow-up leads provided by Global Sales Offices
  • Research and present lost business reports at the weekly Sales Meetings
  • Attend to SOP of roadshows, trade fair in preparation of pre-show report and business plan, thereafter submitting potential and call reports to Director of Sales

Key competencies:

  • Degree in Business Management / Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in hospitality within luxury environment
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Communicates a compelling and inspired vision or sense of core purpose
  • Good business acumen
  • Driven and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully
  • Ability to make good decisions, to plan and set priorities
  • Excellent people skills and committed in developing others
