Duties and Responsibilities
Major responsibilities
- Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experience, Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis and through the use of Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
- Provide leadership and support for Sales Executive and coordinator while providing support to the Director of Transient Sales managing the day to day Sales operations.
- Ensure hotel achieves budgeted annual revenues in the Leisure Transient segment
- Utilize Delphi system for activity logging and account management, Lanyon for RFP management and SMS for hotel inventory / reservations
- Oversee International markets
- Works with the Regional Sales Office in managing accounts on behalf of the Brand
- Works with internal departments to ensure clear communication for all VIPs and any special requests are met for in-house guests
- Entertain clients, as appropriate
- Actively solicits new business to move share from the competitive set
- Remain available to hotel colleagues via hotel provided cellular phone at all times
- Attend daily communications meeting
- Attend weekly Sales & Marketing meeting
- Travel for sales calls on clients as needed and based upon the Sales travel calendar
- Attend MO sponsored roadshows
- Ensure post trip reports and expense reports are submitted in a timely manner to Accounting
