Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is expanding its presence in London with the opening of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London this spring 2023. Sitting on historic Hanover Square, the property comprises 50 guestrooms and 77 private residences, offering hotel guests and residents an oasis of calm and Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service alongside a vibrant atmosphere in the public spaces. It will house the first namesake restaurant in the UK from Michelin Star award winning Chef Akira Back, his ‘ABar Lounge’ concept, ‘ABar Rooftop’ as well as his 14 seat fine dining venue ‘DOSA’. There will also be an urban spa, focussed on renewal and recalibration.

Sales Managers goal will be to generate room revenue from existing leisure and corporate accounts within assigned area. Co-ordinating customer requirements with other departments in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction all while keeping profitability high for the hotel.

As Sales Manager you will be responsible to:

• Oversee all marketing initiatives for the hotel.
• Promote the image of the hotel through positive messages, profitable and suitable partnerships with accounts and guests.
• Communicate with the MOHG Sales Offices with a aim to achieve the best positioned rates and guest satisfaction.

Daily duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Responsible for room-night and revenue production from allocated accounts
• Implement agreed rate structure and strategy for corporate accounts.
• Organise and accompany familiarisation trips and hotel site inspections for clients.
• Entertain executives, secretaries and hotel bookers at existing and future potential companies to secure future revenue for the hotel.
• To conduct rate negotiations and co-ordinate contracting for key corporate and consortia accounts and handle a portfolio of key accounts in defined territory.
• Attend MOHG and trade functions as needed to promote sales and image for the hotel.
• Compile quarterly action plans to review with DOSM. At end of quarter, review past quarter’s actions plan, revenue targets and agree next quarter’s revenue targets.
• Maintain close relationship and communication with Regional Sales Offices to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
• Attend daily sales briefing and other sales and departmental meetings as required.

• Perform any other reasonable task required by the department head.
