The job of Social Media and E-Commerce Manager is executed satisfactorily when:

  • To maximize the hotel’s online presence
  • To enhance the hotel’s marketing and sales efforts via all e commerce opportunities
  • To increase following and inspire engagement on various social media platforms of the hotel and to meet the key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the corporate team and/or the owning company
  • To ensure compliance with the corporate identity guidelines on the website


  • Be the guardian of the hotel's social media platforms
  • Propose and develop social media campaign (for brand building and for tactical offers) to help achieve social media exposure and to drive followers
  • Develop and plan social media calendar
  • Draft and post daily feed for hotel's social media channels per hotel's brand standard
  • Draft reply to social media comments
  • Identify new advertising opportunities on social media and eCommerce
  • Coordinate direct marketing with business partners
  • Promote marketing channels, including GDS and MO reservations
  • Market & evaluate EPAUH’s online presence, including search engine optimization, partners, links, online promotions and premium partners’ website updates
  • Monitor the hotel’s online presence on travel portals such as Expedia,, and TripAdvisor
  • Assist in organizing photo shoots for hotel photography and videography
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and managing annual marketing budget and expenses, social media & eCommerce in particular



  • Degree holder in Marketing or eCommerce Management or related discipline
  • At least 2 years solid experience in similar capacity, preferably in luxury hospitality field
  • Excellent communications skills, articulate and compelling communication style
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles, appropriate to relevant audiences
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven track record with project management skills
  • Capable of creative thinking, working with flair and imagination
  • Good writing skills in English
