We are looking for an Assistant Spa Operations Manager for our 5-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami. Incumbent should have a minimum of 2 year’s supervisory experience in a luxury spa setting. Responsibilities include—but are not limited to—overseeing the Spa Concierge team at the reception desk; overseeing the Spa retail boutique and all aspects of merchandising; holding daily line ups with staff; acting as spa Manager on Duty; assisting with dissatisfied or disgruntled guests; encouraging repeat guest reservations to drive revenue and brand recognition; anticipating guest needs and operational challenges; coaching and counseling of line level staff; coordinating training needs; scheduling; and assisting the Director of Spa and Wellness as needed. Incumbent must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as be proficient in MS Office programs. Experience with SMS Spa Soft is a plus. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. This is a full-time position only.
The Assistant Spa Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Spa and Wellness.
