About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, as the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of all members of the accounting department and being able to assist or cover a position if needed.
As Accounting Manager,you will be responsible for the following duties:
To conduct and control all financial controls and accounting procedures based upon a maximization of internal and control techniques consistent with MOHG established policy and general accepted accounting principles.
To conduct, control and supervise personnel of General Accounting and Accounting payable.
To compile all budgets and forecast covering all activities of the hotel in conjunction with Controller and Department Heads.
To maintain all budget control procedures.
To prepare financial statement.
To ensure the accuracy of all reports and financial accounts.
To cooperate with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient running of all activities.
To prepare details of monthly account with supporting schedules.
To review all aspects of the PP30 submission, including other related tax filings.
To review payment vouchers for accuracy and compliance.
To prepare Treasury reports.
To review all aspect of hotel operation, accounting system and internal control, etc.
To prepare balance sheet entries and reconciliations as part of the month-end closing process.
To prepare the profit and loss statement as part of the month-end closing process.
To prepare reconciliation of all assets and keep Chief Accountant or Assistant Financial Controller informed of any discrepancies.
As Accounting Manager, we expect from you:
CPD qualification is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
5 years solid luxury hotel experience.
Minimum 5 years work experience in Accounting Department.
Proficiency in English and in Computer skills.
Possess good leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and Team Player/Motivator.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
