About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hangzhou, within the Engineering Department in Hangzhou, the Assistant Director of Engineering will assist in the management and supervision of the day-to-day operation in the engineering department of the hotel, to ensure product quality standards are achieved and that outstanding service is provided to guests and colleagues according to the hotel and MOHG standards and business objectives. Under the guidance of the Director of Engineering coordinate and supervise all contractors’ working within the hotel to ensure minimum disruption to the operations of the hotel and quality standards are always achieved.

As Assistant Director of Engineering, we expect from you:

• University Degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering Department with at least 3 years as Assistance Director of Engineering.
• A team player who is self-motivated, hardworking, and committed to succeed with MO group.
• Liaise with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to read drawings, interprets manuals.
• Good in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Good reports presentation.
