About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Department in Shenzhen. The Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage Outlet reports to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

As Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage Outlet, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Support company's vision and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences as a daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement
• Collaborate with outlet managers to manage a diverse F&B Client portfolio
• Engaging with guests in outlets and events, building relationships and recognising the guests
• Develop key strategies and test and learn to improve first time diners’ repeat rates

As Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage Outlet, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
• Fluency in English and preferably one other language
