As a Assistant Restaurant Manager - Bencotto, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Support the Restaurant Manager in all operational and administrative aspects of Bencotto to be able to prioritise the required level of engagement depending on the business volumes and other related parameter and take charge of the outlet and the department in absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in directing, monitoring, guiding and measuring the performance and development of reporting colleagues in an acceptable and consistent way, appropriately acknowledging good performance and addressing problem performance through agreed disciplinary measures. 
• Enforce and monitor all operational standards, as per our policies, SOP and quality measures are in place at all times.
• Implement and monitor side work systems, including tabletop supplies maintenance and duty checklists for all positions.
• Supervise daily operations to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards are consistent.
• Ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Taipei’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and always maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in menu planning, pricing, accuracy, and promotional activities to maximize revenue.
• Review guest feedback, audits, and incident reports; develop and execute improvement action plans.
• Foster effective inter-departmental communication and teamwork by promoting collaboration across diverse teams, ensuring transparency in information sharing, and aligning departments toward common organizational goals.

As a Assistant Restaurant Manager - Bencotto, we expect from you: 

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management and Business Management is preferred. 
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a 5 Star Luxury hotel environment particularly in an Italian Restaurant is preferred. 
• Excellent verbal communication skills in Mandarin & English.
