About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Food & Beverage Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Banquet & Outlet Manager leads all banquet and event operations at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino while simultaneously overseeing the daily operations of Brasserie De La Bay, the resort’s golf clubhouse restaurant.

As Banquet & Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Partner closely with Event Sales management and meeting planners to understand client needs, execute BEOs accurately, manage changes, and deliver seamless events.

  • Oversee all event setups and service delivery, while ensuring Mandarin Oriental standards are fulfilled and while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction throughout each function.

  • Manage staffing levels for efficiency and cost effectiveness, lead post-event reporting and improvements, and support operational initiatives and ad hoc projects directed by F&B management.

  • Lead daily operations for Brasserie De La Bay, ensuring exceptional service, smooth service flow, and a dining experience that blends Mandarin Oriental standards with the unique golf clubhouse atmosphere.

  • Lead the Brasserie team while collaborating with the culinary department on menu development and seasonal offerings tailored to the golf community.

  • Oversee financial performance including forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization, while maintaining strong partnerships with golf operations for seamless clubhouse and F&B coordination.

As Banquet & Outlet Manager, we expect from you: 

  • Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role, in a luxury hotel operation.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Local and international food and beverage awareness.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English and preferably Greek.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
