Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como’s Bartender is in charge of delighting the resort’s guests and customers preparing and proposing signature and classic cocktails and drinks of any kind.
Duties and responsibilities:
Recommend and prepare wine and creative cocktails for guests and customers
Provide services for guests/customers such as order-taking and the promotion of the restaurant’s food and beverage offers
Be responsible for the set-up and the operation of the bar station/section
Follow the production of all beverages and the bar’s sequence of service at any time
Ensure that food and beverages’ service is efficiently and accurately handled
Ensure that the service and products’ delivery standards are fully respected and surpassed at all times, with a high level of client care
Respond proactively and adequately to the guests’ queries, ensuring consequent effective communication
Be able to lead and communicate with the colleagues during the bar operations
Perform all duties related to the restaurant’s opening/closing check-list
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
Requirements:
Minimum 3-years experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury environment
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Italian and English
High standard of verbal communication, social skills and up-selling skills
Able to work flexible schedules and on evenings/weekends/holidays
Able to handle multiple tasks at once
