About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong within F&B Service Division in Hong Kong, the Captain is responsible for providing a high standard of service which is friendly, attentive and responsive to guest needs. The Captain reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Captain, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Greet the guests, take orders and  deliver food & beverage items according to hotel’s standards and procedures

  • Assist in maintaining smooth operation of assigned section

  • Be in charge of the assigned section to ensure smooth operation

  • Monitor back of house and run food between kitchen and dining area

  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by being attentive to guests’ needs and response timely throughout the dining experience

  • Perform any other duties as required by your department head from time to time

As Captain, we expect from you:

  • Minimum 3 years of Fine Dining restaurant experience

  • Experience in French fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants will be advantages

  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional F&B service

  • Pleasant, presentable, service -oriented, a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good command in English, knowledge in other languages is an advantage
