About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the F&B Department, the Chef de Rang is responsible for the following duties:

    • Be responsible for the quality of service delivered in our restaurants

    • Manage a section (station) efficiently

    • Supervise and support Commis de Restauration (commis waiters)

    • Have an in-depth knowledge of the menu and dishes in order to answer guests’ questions accurately

    • Master all presentation techniques, in particular by applying Forbes quality standards

    • Maintain excellent relationships with guests

    • Actively contribute to guest loyalty and satisfaction

As Chef de Rang, we expect from you:

  • You have a 2 years experience in a similar position within the upscale hospitality sector.
  • Your interpersonal skills, active listening, and enthusiasm are true assets for this role.
  • Fluency in English and French is required.
