 As Chief Steward, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To formulate and continually upgrade a Departmental Operations Manual detailing standards of performance, policies and procedures and procedures standards pertinent to the efficient operation of the respective areas in accordance with FLHSS and HACCP procedures.
  • To ensure guest needs and guest expectations are met by providing spotless operating equipment.
  • To liaise with Engineering to ensure prompt and efficient repair work.
  • To liaise with Purchasing to ensure prompt and efficient purchasing, issuing of supplies, stock control and inventory control.
  • To make recommendations to Management for modernization of equipment and improved guest satisfaction.
  • To conduct regular meetings and briefings to keep employees informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
  • To check and sign all store requisitions and to ensure that the outlet is operated within the budget by minimizing costs and expenditures without affecting the standard.
  • To ensure that all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictly enforced by employees.
  • To operate in accordance with all Health and Safety legislation, and hygiene requirements and to ensure that they are consistent maintained.

As Chief Steward, we expect from you: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Chief Steward.
  • Possess good leadership skills.
  • Computer literate and HACCP knowledge.
  • Proactive communication skills in both verbal and written in English and Thai.
