About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the Kitchen Department, the Seasonal Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with the hotel’s standards, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and excellence.

This role reports to the Sous Chef / Head Chef.

As Seasonal Cook, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Ensuring food quality, freshness and presentation meet luxury expectations
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workstation
• Complying with health, safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards)
• Supporting the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth operations
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

As Seasonal Cook, we expect from you:

• Previous experience as a Cook, ideally in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Strong attention to detail and passion for gastronomy
