About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental London Corporate Office, the People & Culture Intern is responsible for providing support to the People & Culture Manager, Regional Director of People & Culture (Europe) and the Head of Learning & Development (Europe). This role will be reporting to the People & Culture Manager.
As People & Culture Intern you will be responsible for the following duties:
· Support European region People & Culture and Learning & Development team initiatives
· People & Culture data analytics and tracking
· Review and update of internal intranet content
· Help coordinate the European Rising Fans programme and engagement
· Assisting in General Manager and Hotel Manager corporate onboarding plans
· Supporting all expense reporting and business travel authorisations for Senior P&C team members
· Support our office communications via our London Teams channel, weekly update email, intranet pages and MyMO posts.
· Ensure Office Colleague Handbook and Office Manual are kept updated and available alongside the People & Culture Manager.
· Support with MOve In Orientation and ensure relevant materials are kept up to date for new joiners. Work in partnership with our London hotels to enrol colleagues into Move In Orientation and cross-exposure co-horts.
· Assisting and supporting Birthday / Long Service celebrations and gifts.
· Locker management and management of access cards for colleagues and visitors.
· Support in coordinating company events and campaigns for employees’ engagement.
As a People & Culture Intern, we expect from you:
· Previous experience working in an administrative capacity in a similar environment is preferred.
· Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
· Excellent command of written and spoken English
· Proactive and detail orientated, with a high level of accuracy
· Adaptable and flexible, capable of managing ad hoc responsibilities and working in a fast-paced environment.
· Trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
· Team-oriented and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
