About the job
Based at the Athens Offices of Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Sales & Marketing Department, the Digital Communications Executive will bring social and community management fully in-house: plan and produce content, run daily community management, manage the website’s tickets and local Meta Ads to drive awareness and engagement, while keeping everything on-brand. The Digital Communications Executive reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
As Digital Communications Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Content Strategy: Develop (along with the DOMC) and implement the resort’s Social Media content strategy, defining pillars, storytelling angles, frequency of posting per pillar and platform-specific approach to ensure consistent, engaging and brand-aligned communication.
Content creation & brand approval process: Own the monthly social content calendar. Create and curate the content for MOCNA’s owned SoMe channels (Instagram & Facebook), including photo selection, colour correction, editing and copywriting, ensuring all materials reflect the brand’s new visual ID and tone of voice. Coordinate with the Regional Brand team to ensure all content is reviewed, approved and fully aligned with MO’s global guidelines (Airtable).
Content publishing: Manage the uploading and scheduling of content across all SoMe platforms, ensuring accurate tagging, formatting and timely posting.
Community management: Oversee daily community, including monitoring comments, messages, mentions, collab posts. Respond promptly (within 1.5 hours during working days / hours) and professionally maintaining MO’s ToV. Escalate guest-related issues to the appropriate departments when needed.
Local paid campaigns in Meta: Set up, manage and optimize local campaigns in Meta, including audience targeting, budgeting, and performance tracking to support awareness and engagement goals.
Creative briefing & coordination for SoMe: Brief and coordinate (along with the DOMC) photographers & videographers to produce specific SoMe deliverables ensuring all content aligns with MOCNA’s storytelling, visual ID and global guidelines.
Performance reporting: Track, analyze and report on the performance of organic social media content and local Meta Ads campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to enhance engagement, reach.
Website content management: Serve as the owner of all content uploads on MO’s website through the ticketing system, Frontify etc. ensuring timely updates.
Administrative tasks: Support the DOMC and the Director of Commercial Strategy with daily administrative tasks.
As Digital Communications Executive, we expect from you:
Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.
2 – 4 years in marketing / Social Media for hospitality, luxury lifestyle, or travel, as well as hands-on Meta Ads Manager & Business Manager experience.
Fluency in Greek and English.
